How far in advance should I book my shoot?

If you are printing an album or ordering wall art I recommend that you schedule your shoot 2 months prior to needing the finished

product in hand. If you just need your digital images you will receive those at your photo reveal 2-3 weeks after your shoot. If you are reading this and just freaked out because you need it sooner than that, don’t worry! Just let me know and I will see what I can do for you!

When and how will I select my favorite images from my shoot?

Approximately 2 weeks after your shoot you will return to the studio for your photo reveal and ordering appointment!

I set up a large screen for us to view all your images. Typically there are between 20-30 images to select from.  The reveal is the most exciting

part of the shoot for me! Feel free to bring a friend to join in on the excitement. (I love the build up because I don’t show you many images during the shoot :)) During this time I help you choose your favorite images (quantity depends on the package purchased) and of course there is an option

to buy a la carte because there might be a few more you don’t want to part with. I have a great system in place so you can compare side by side to make sure you are going home with your very favorite photos. Turnaround time for products is normally about 4-6 weeks. Please keep this in mind

if you plan on gifting images for a specific event.  Rush orders are possible just let me know a head of time.

What will I wear! What should I do to prepare?

This is by far the most popular question and my answer is simple…whatever you feel beautiful in. Typically most clients get 3 “looks;”

usually “nude” is one of those looks (yes it counts). I love simple things that you most likely already have in your closet like a body suit (I love body suits!), an oversized sweater, a robe, high wasted panties, a cropped sweatshirt You don’t need to go out any buy new lingerie (unless you want to!)

and if you are going for a editorial portrait bring you favorite outfit! Statement pieces go a long way for this. While you are getting your makeup done by someone on my glam squad I’ll checkout your stuff and help put together some cute outfits if you want a little guidance. Please don’t stress about what

to wear! I swear I could do an entire shoot with no wardrobe other than a bed sheet.

How much can you “edit out”?

“When I did my self-portrait, I left all the pimples out because you always should, Pimples are a temporary condition and they don’t have anything

to do with what you really look like, Always omit the blemishes- they’re not part of the good picture you want”- Andy Warhol

I love this quote. Basically I will edit out minor blemishes, skin flaws and under eye circles, but I keep Photoshop to a minimum. My images look natural. If it’s permanent it stays. Stretch marks are softened but not removed completely.  I welcome scars, but this is a very personal decision so I also

support a woman’s choice to have them removed from the image.

Will you use my images on your website/blog/portfolio?

I would love you show off your images on my platform but will only do so with your permission!

I won’t use your name or tag you (unless you ask me to).

What do your packages include?  How much should I expect to spend?

Some spend thousands on a purse that will last a season... or hundreds on a painful pair of shoes... Unlike these things,

your boudoir experience will not age,  it will only become more meaningful and valuable with time.

I offer 3 thoughtfully designed packages built to accommodate client’s needs. I also offer a la cart pricing. Most clients are surprised at how

many images they fall in love with and can’t do without so typically clients spend around $1,000.

Contact me for the breakdown of packages.

Do I have to be nude?

Nooo of course not! Some of my favorite images of clients are shot in their favorite outfits. Jeans and an off the shoulder shirt can do the trick.

What if I want to get a little more risqué than the photos I see on your website?

YAASS honey!  What you see on my website is an accurate representation of my work and how risqué we get. We can turn it up a just a notch.

I just don’t photograph the eagle, but a little glimpse of the robin can be cute. We’ll keep it classy; I’m not a wildlife photographer, ok gurl?!

Where will our photo session take place?

I shoot in my studio located in a hip enclave of Bushwick, as well as in a beautiful studio in Boerum Hill.

For a small fee, I can come to you if you are located in NYC.

Do you travel outside NYC for shoots?

Yes! I love traveling! I just ask that you cover my travel costs, 2 night stay, any rental costs, and my travel fee. Lets talk.

Can I bring a friend?

Sure! I just ask that you friend be hands off while I am shooting. I’ll handle the posing and adjusting

while your friend cheers you on (and helps you carry your stuff :))

I'm pregnant - when is the best time to schedule a maternity portrait session?

This varies from woman to woman but a good rule of thumb is anywhere between 27-35 weeks while the belly is

really showing and while you are still feeling your best.

What if I need to reschedule?

To book your session I require a 50% deposit.  This deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another date for no additional fee.

I ask that if you do need to cancel or reschedule, you allow 48 hours advance notice as a courtesy when possible.

Cancellations within 48 hours and multiple reschedules are subject to a fee.

How do I book a session?

Contact me via email or slide into my DMs. I will send you my pricing and we can hop on a call to see how we can make this happen for you!

How about hair and makeup?

I have a wonderful MUA that I work with she will be happy to glam you up! If you prefer to do you own makeup that's cool too!

I have a package that does not include MUA that might be a good fit for you. Otherwise I do not offer credit for the other packages if you

choose to opt out of MUA. The MUA can do a light dry touch up on your hair but you should come with photoshoot ready hair.
